A prominent financial services firm in Klang City is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage all aspects of accounting and financial functions. The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 5 years of related experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential. This role includes managing cash flow, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.
Responsible for full spectrum of accounting and financial functions including month-end closing and consolidation reporting, cash flow management, fixed assets, inventory, regulatory reporting, costing, SST and all tax related issues (WHT, VAT etc);
Handle of financial interim and year-end audit, coordinating with auditor and preparing monthly schedules, intercompany transactions, intercompany reconciliation and review bank reconciliation;
Manage Cashflow, effective managing the collection and payment of the Company. Ensuring that sufficient funds are available to support on going operations;
Transfer Pricing documentation preparation;
Provide monthly, quarterly, annually financial report information while recommending further course of action;
Review financial information and provide advise on the financial status of company to the Director for decision making;
Look into strengthening current internal control/SOP and process improvement;
Lead finance projects and project team to ensure targets’ achievement;
Ensure financial and accounting management is carried out in compliance with current regulations and standards;
Coordinate and collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Service, Warehouse and Operation to gather financial data and support cross-functional initiatives;
Any ad-hoc projects as assigned by Director and management.
Degree in Finance or Accounting recognized by government from any institutions or higher education or a Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICAP);
A member of any accounting or finance professional body;
Minimum 5 years or related experience in accounting or financial management;
Candidate with working experience in Logistics will be an added advantage;
Analytical, strong business sense, ability to lead and work independently;
Able to think out of box, results driven and good business acumen;
Good communication skills – both written and verbal;
A keen eye for detail and desire to probe into data;
Quick thinker and effective people manager;
Integrity and drive;
High level of adaptability and flexibility skills;
Strong accounting, tax technical skills.
