Job summary

A recruitment platform based in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee finance operations, manage budgeting and reporting, and ensure compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive finance experience and will be responsible for supervising a small team. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and preferably an accounting certification. This role demands strong analytical and communication skills, and fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of experience supervising or managing a small finance team.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain and improve internal control procedures.
• Manage tax filings and statutory submissions.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and expenditure.
• Coordinate with external auditors and banks.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior finance staff.
