About the Role: If you're someone who enjoys taking ownership, gets things done right, and feels proud when the numbers tell a clear and accurate story — we’d love to meet you.

You’ll be the go-to finance person for our Malaysia and Singapore business — the one everyone relies on for clarity, structure, and trusted financial guidance. You’ll handle the hands-on, day-to-day tasks that keep our business running smoothly, while also stepping back to look at the bigger picture, spotting trends, and helping the team make smarter decisions.

You'll work closely with our Finance Manager in Hong Kong and our VP SEA, and occasionally support our global finance initiatives. If you’re someone who’s independent, curious about the business, and enjoys the challenge of balancing execution with strategy — you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do
  • Take full ownership of daily and monthly finance operations for Malaysia and Singapore, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
  • Manage the full set of accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Lead accurate and timely month‑end closings, cash flow management, payroll, vendor payments, banking activities, and expense tracking.
  • Handle monthly company payments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Track AR Aging and company collections to ensure timely, accurate documentation and payments.
  • Verify sales orders and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with local and regional teams to provide actionable financial insights, support scenario planning, and guide better business decisions.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external partners to fulfill statutory requirements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while identifying and highlighting trends.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and maintain strong financial controls and accurate records.
  • Work closely with headquarters to uphold reporting standards and assist with group consolidation.
  • Support regional/global finance projects when needed.
What You’ll Need
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; experience in tech, SaaS, or fast‑growing companies is a plus.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in managing end‑to‑end finance operations and handling full sets of accounts.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance, statutory reporting, and financial controls.
  • Business acumen and the ability to translate financial data into clear, practical insights.
  • Excellent organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Confident communicator in English; proficiency in Mandarin/Malay is an advantage.
  • High integrity, ownership, and accountability, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Tech‑savvy, with experience in cloud‑based accounting systems (e.g., Zoho) and willingness to learn new tools.
  • Genuine interest in how the business operates, with a proactive and improvement‑focused mindset.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Sr Finance Specialist position.
What We’re Offering
  • Annual Leave: 14 days in the first year, increasing by 1 day per year (max 18 days per year).
  • Medical Coverage: Hospitalization insurance after probation.
  • Statutory Contributions: EPF / SOCSO / EIS / PCB.
  • Office Pantry: Free drinks and snacks to keep you energized.
  • Training & Development: On‑the‑job training and career growth opportunities.
