Job summary

OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad invites aspiring interns to join and contribute to data validation, UAT testing and project support across finance and technology teams. The internship offers exposure to analytics, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic banking environment.

The program seeks students pursuing degrees in accounting, banking, finance, computer science, or data analytics, with a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 and a commitment of more than two months.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics.
• CGPA of 3.00/4.00 or equivalent.
• Internship duration > 2 months.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Exposure to data analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python and Tableau is a plus.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team with data validation and ensure comprehensive UAT coverage.
• Provide support for ad hoc projects or tasks as needed.
• Participate in special projects assigned by the department or organization.
• Collaborate with the team and other process groups to identify and implement improvements.
