A retail subsidiary company located in Rawang is seeking a Finance Executive to manage full sets of accounts, prepare financial statements, and monitor cash flow. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in accounting within the retail industry and is proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to financial planning and compliance in an expanding business environment.
Manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month‑end closing processes.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support the retail business’s financial planning.
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring timely payments, collections, and cash reconciliation for retail outlets.
Work closely with the retail team to reconcile inventory balances, track stock levels, and analyze variances.
Analyze and track expenditures, identifying cost‑saving opportunities where possible and monitoring adherence to budgets.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparation and submission of GST/SST and other statutory requirements.
Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors during annual audits.
Maintain the accounting system (ERP) and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and reporting.
What we’re looking for:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in full set accounting, preferably within the retail industry.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with inventory management, cost accounting, and handling of retail transactions.
Good understanding of GST/SST regulations and other relevant tax laws.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Flexible and open to handling new responsibilities as needed.
