Job description
Job Responsibilities:
  • Update all bank transactions on a daily basis.
  • Assign account codes to all transactions in the accounting system.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, clearing account reconciliation and interco reconciliation on monthly basis.
  • Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking processes.
  • Enter accurate and timely data into the accounting system.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and statements.
  • Perform month-end closing activities.
  • Maintain an audit schedule on a monthly basis to ensure that all schedules are tally with accounting records.
  • Record and process all business transactions within the organisation's accounting system using principles of double-entry accounting.
  • Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and finance costs.
  • Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash.
  • Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for management use.
  • Use relevant IT systems and tools effectively for data analysis.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Knowledge of QuickBook is an added advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Sharp time management skills.
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
  • Professional qualification in ACCA/LCCI is considered a plus
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Mandarin and English.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
