A global fintech group in Johor Bahru is seeking a Finance Executive to manage financial records and support audits. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, have 1–2 years of experience, and be proficient in both Mandarin and English. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, managing financial schedules, and reconciling records. The company offers a competitive salary, healthcare access, and a supportive team culture. Bookkeeping: Accurately record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
Schedule Management: Manage financial schedules, payment tracking, reconciliations, and reporting deadlines.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Documentation: Maintain and organize financial documents in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Ad Hoc Duties: Support audits, prepare reports, and handle other finance‑related tasks as needed.
Team Support: Assist senior finance team members and collaborate with other departments to support business operations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, MIA) are an added advantage.
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or finance roles preferred.
Fresh graduates with a strong academic background are encouraged to apply.
Previous experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
Skills:
Proficient in both Mandarin and English (spoken & written). We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software is highly preferred.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
