What is your role?

As a Finance Executive, you will play a key role in supporting our team by managing daily financial transactions and ensuring accurate financial records. Your responsibilities include handling accounting activities, preparing bank reconciliations, and managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable.

This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and a proactive approach when working with various internal and external stakeholders. We will provide comprehensive on-the-job training to support your growth and development in this position.

What are your responsibilities?

• Prepare accounting entries, perform bookkeeping, and maintain accurate financial records
• Conduct monthly reconciliations (Bank, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable) and ensure timely updates of cash balances
• Ensure timely billing to stakeholders and full compliance with AP and AR procedures
• Be willing to learn and assist in the preparation of annual accounts
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems to support smooth administrative operations
• Undertake other ad hoc duties as assigned and assist the company in executing tasks efficiently

The ideal candidate shall have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage
• The ability to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia when liaising with stakeholders; proficiency in other locally used languages is an added advantage (please highlight in your application)
• A process-driven mindset with strong adherence to SOPs
• The ability to manage accounting and finance-related matters efficiently
• Strong follow-up and follow-through capabilities
