Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing multi-entity finance operations within a diversified business group.
  • Strong background in financial governance, reporting, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and drive financial strategies, frameworks, and policies for the Group.
  • Collaborate with the Group CFO and business leaders for financial insights.
  • Direct and manage functions under Finance Shared Services, including Financial Reporting.
  • Introduce and maintain standardized processes and digital solutions.
  • Oversee monthly closings and reporting cycles for accuracy.
  • Monitor service performance through SLAs and KPIs.
  • Uphold compliance with accounting standards and laws.
  • Lead internal and external audit activities.
  • Strengthen internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as a finance business partner to divisional leaders.
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders on financial performance.
  • Build and inspire a high-performing finance shared services team.
  • Mentor and develop team members for leadership roles.

Job description

Formulate and drive financial strategies, frameworks, and policies to ensure consistency, transparency, and compliance across all entities within the Group.

Collaborate closely with the Group CFO and business leaders to provide analytical insights and financial recommendations that enhance decision‑making and operational performance.

Direct and manage all functions under Finance Shared Services, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Financial Reporting.

Introduce and maintain standardised processes, automation initiatives, and digital solutions to improve accuracy, productivity, and scalability.

Oversee monthly closings, consolidations, and reporting cycles to ensure timely, precise financial outputs for every business unit.

Monitor and evaluate service performance through defined SLAs and KPIs to ensure operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

Uphold full compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation laws, and internal control frameworks.

Lead all internal and external audit activities, ensuring readiness, accuracy, and prompt resolution of audit matters.

Strengthen internal controls and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the Group’s financial integrity and assets.

Serve as a key finance business partner to divisional leaders, providing strategic financial support and operational guidance.

Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, delivering clarity on financial performance, governance updates, and policy enhancements.

Build and inspire a high‑performing finance shared services team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Mentor and develop team members, equipping them with the skills and exposure needed for future leadership roles.

Champion transformation initiatives to digitalise finance operations and embed best practices across the Group.
