Finance Director, SEA4 (Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines)

The Finance Director, SEA4 will play the role of a strategic finance partner and advise leadership on overall financial performance of the affiliate, develop business strategies and recommend actions to improve financial performance, business efficiency and minimize risk and exposure. The incumbent will manage the financial functions, including legal matters, of the affiliate in accordance with the strategies and goals set by the General Manager as well as by Global and/or Regional Finance, while supporting Brand General Managers and Functional Directors in financial reviews and analysis of their business.

What You Will Achieve
  • Establish key controls and business processes to ensure all commercial activities are in full compliance with company policies & SOX compliance.
  • Ensure commercial leads fully understand the policies and map out the end‑to‑end business processes necessary for the teams to execute the underlying business transactions with customers & third‑party vendors.
  • Act as a business partner and key person to enable sound business processes and act as a change champion when required.
  • Work closely with the mid (Hub) & back (outsourced 3rd party) offices supporting F&A to execute accounting procedures leading to proper management financial reporting, statutory & tax reporting; serve as problem solver when issues arise and engage with business teams.
  • Collaborate with regional teams in SC, IT, Retail, Finance, Controllership, IP, Legal, etc.
