Job summary

A leading insurance company in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned financial executive to lead financial planning and accounting efforts. This role involves collaborating with the CEO and executives, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in the General Insurance industry, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in Cantonese. Qualifications

  • At least 10 years experience in an accounting role within General Insurance and Bank Negara reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills for Senior Management interaction.
  • Cantonese language preferred.
  • Extensive experience as a people manager.
  • Ability to organize and control large accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and exploit opportunities to increase business profitability.
  • Advise on financial implications of management decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Group Office reporting deadlines.
  • Build relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership.
