As part of its continued growth, the company is strengthening its footprint outside of Asia, and is seeking a commercially astute Finance Director to lead financial strategy and governance for its emerging market.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance Leadership

Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process for emerging market business, providing insights to guide commercial and operational decisions.

Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute regional growth strategies, market entry plans, and business model optimization.

Operational Finance & Governance

Establish and oversee local finance operations, including accounting, reporting, tax, and compliance functions in line with corporate policies and regulations.

Implement financial controls, processes, and systems that ensure transparency and scalability.

Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Commercial & Business Partnering

Support pricing, client contract evaluation, and project margin optimization across business units.

Provide financial insights to business development teams to enhance bid competitiveness and profitability.

Collaborate with functional leads (HR, Legal, Operations) to drive efficient resource allocation and operational excellence.

Build and mentor a lean but capable local finance team as operations scale.

Foster a culture of accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

More than 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within marketing, creative services, media, or related project‑based industries.

Strong understanding of US GAAP, taxation, and compliance requirements.

Proven track record in supporting international expansion or managing cross‑border business operations.

Excellent commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable operating in a growth and transformation environment.
