Job Description
The Finance Change Advisor will play a pivotal role in driving and implementing strategic finance transformations within BP Business Service Centre Asia. This position requires a proactive individual who can demonstrate agility, data analysis, and strong partner engagement to deliver innovative and sustainable financial solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead Change & Transformation activities for S/4 implementation, ensuring alignment with functional and system requirements and translating these into actionable plans.
- Drive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and curriculum design to meet the diverse needs of user groups
- Support Change Impact Assessments (CIA) by identifying, analyzing, and validating impacts, including entity confirmation and localization. Secure Troika (Governance) approval for CIAs.
- Collaborate with key partners to understand the scope and depth of changes and their interpersonal impact.
- Define UAT scope in partnership with relevant teams.
- Establish and maintain a robust change network across bp to ensure engagement and support for S/4 deployment.
- Communicate impactful changes clearly, ensuring employees understand the significance and implications for daily activities.
- Secure commitment from key internal and external partners to actively support deployment.
- Integrate with other Quantum Programme teams to optimize change delivery.
- Develop and sustain networks of Finance & Business Change Champions, Super Users, and Team Leads.
- Support execution of change activities to embed new behaviors, practices, and processes, including dependencies (e.g., Workday, Data Lake, Business Warehouse).
- Lead Business Readiness activities, including supervising BCC plans and readiness project plans.
- Collaborate across workstreams to align related change impacts for program/project input.
- Support role mapping for end users.
- Assist in communication and engagement initiatives to drive adoption.
- Coordinate training delivery, including onboarding trainers, localizing materials, conducting TNA, scheduling, and execution.
- Monitor business stability metrics pre- and post-launch to measure stabilization.
- Embrace agile principles and ways of working throughout the program.
Essential Education & Experience
- Degree or equivalent experience or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Demonstrated ability in finance deployments and/or SAP implementation, including project planning and execution.
- Exposure to agile methodologies and Scrum.
- Good social skills – able to adapt style and approach to influence, gain commitment, and resolve conflicts.
- Active listening skills – shown ability to collaborate with diverse business, functional, and technical teams.
- Critical thinking – adept at capturing and analyzing information to deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Collaborative approach – proven success in building productive relationships and fostering partnership.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and embrace optimal ways of working.
Desirable Criteria
- Expertise in Change Management and Transformation.
- Experience in SAP Financial system deployment.
- Exposure to global operations.
- Project management and process re-engineering experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Experience in business transformation projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across multiple teams.
