Job summary

Discova, part of Flight Centre Travel Group, is seeking a talented Full Stack BI professional for our Finance team in Kuala Lumpur. You will translate business requirements into scalable data models and develop Power BI dashboards to drive insights and decision-making.

You will collaborate across departments, optimise reports, and contribute to automation initiatives while supporting finance reporting and data architecture. This is a data-driven role in a dynamic travel group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Business Intelligence or data analytics.
• Strong SQL, Power BI, DAX, and data modelling skills.
• Experience with data warehousing and BI architecture.
• Experience supporting Finance or reporting functions is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to generate meaningful business insights from data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration capability.
• Continuous improvement and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and financial requirements into scalable data models.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
• Implement BI dashboards focusing on usability, performance, and business value.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Optimise report performance, load times, and refresh reliability.
• Maintain and enhance analytics platforms.
• Analyse reporting outputs and provide actionable insights to business teams.
• Support automation initiatives within Finance, including enhancements to Tourplan and future system integration.
• Drive Power BI integration across business systems and data sources.
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to identify opportunities for better reporting and automation.
• Share knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise with team members.
• Participate in training and ongoing professional development opportunities.
