Job Responsibilities
- Record and post journal entries to ensure accurate bookkeeping of business transactions.
- Issue invoices, purchase orders, and update accounts receivable records.
- Manage accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing monthly and yearly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, etc.) in compliance with legal and company standards.
- Process employee payroll and statutory contributions accurately and on time.
- Maintain and update accounting and payroll databases; ensure timely archiving of financial documents.
- Respond to staff and customer inquiries related to claims, payroll, billing, and other relevant matters.
- Handle general administrative tasks including office maintenance, replenishing groceries and stationery, insurance matters, phone calls, digital filing, and daily operations.
- Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Diploma holder with 1 – 2 years of experience in an accounts‑related role will be preferred.
- Comfortable with clerical responsibilities for long term.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; Mandarin proficiency preferred.
- Good attention to detail and numerical aptitude.
- Able to multitask and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Willing to learn, adaptable, and a team player.
- Will rotate through various Finance, Admin, and Payroll functions for cross‑training and professionals development.
