Job summary

A financial services firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Financial Manager to oversee the preparation of group financial statements and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with professional qualifications preferred. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. The position also involves supervising junior staff while handling ad-hoc financial projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and Securities Commission guidelines.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the preparation of group consolidated financial statements.
  • Coordinate timely submission of quarterly and annual announcements.
  • Prepare and review monthly management reports and financial analyses.
  • Oversee tax computations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and internal controls.
  • Support corporate exercises and ad-hoc finance projects as required.
  • Supervise and develop junior finance staff.
