Stinis Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Final Testing Engineer to perform final functional, operational, load, and safety tests on heavy equipment. You will execute tests per procedures, support FAT and commissioning, and document results with traceability.
The candidate should read engineering drawings, use testing instruments, and apply basic troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC systems. English and Malay fluency is expected.
The Final Testing Engineer performs final functional, operational, load, and safety tests on heavy equipment and machinery. This role involves executing testing activities in compliance with drawings, specifications, standards, and customer requirements, supporting Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and commissioning activities.
Key responsibilities
Perform final functional, operational, load, and safety tests as per approved test procedures and checklists
Execute testing activities in compliance with drawings, specifications, standards, and customer requirements
Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and commissioning activities
Identify non-conformities during testing and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Record test results, measurements, and observations accurately
Verify corrective actions after rectification
Complete testing checklists, test reports, and inspection records
Maintain proper documentation and traceability of test results
Assist in troubleshooting basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues during testing
Coordinate with Production, QC, and Engineering teams to resolve test-related issues
About you
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics
Knowledge of testing instruments and measurement tools
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and PLC software
Attention to detail and strong documentation discipline
Good teamwork and communication skills
Articulate and well-written in English and Malay
Experience in port equipment, final testing, commissioning, or quality inspection in heavy equipment or machinery manufacturing may also be considered
