Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist plantation and packing house managers in planning and coordinating daily work activities.
• Track field operations (planting, fertilizing, harvesting) and report progress to management.
• Monitor packing house workflow, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Help ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and agricultural regulations.

Logistics & Transportation

• Drive lorry for transporting pineapples, materials, supplies, or workers between plantation sites and the packing facility.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and proper documentation (permits, inspection records).
• Coordinate delivery schedules and assist with loading/unloading when required.

Administrative & Reporting Duties

• Maintain records for inventory, harvest quantities, packing output, and shipment logs.
• Assist with employee scheduling, timesheets, and attendance tracking.
• Prepare basic reports for management (production data, supply usage, equipment status).
• Communicate with suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams as needed.

Workforce & Site Support

• Provide instructions to field and packing crews based on management directives.
• Monitor worker performance and report issues or needs to supervisors.
• Assist in training new workers on procedures and safety standards.
• Support daily problem-solving around operations, equipment, or staffing.

Required Qualifications

• Valid lorry driver license (specify class if required: e.g., Class D, E, or local equivalent).
• 1–3 years of experience in agricultural operations, warehouse/packing facilities, or logistics.
