Job summary

BrioHR Pte Ltd is seeking a Field Specialist IV – FLD (Drilling Completion Fluid) to lead onsite fluid services in APAC, Malaysia. You will measure, test, supervise mixing and pumping, and provide technical analysis and practical recommendations to control fluid properties on rig sites.

You will maintain fluid properties, manage site inventory, and deliver customer service to rig-site crews. Onshore/offshore exposure with a 4 weeks on/off rotation, English proficiency, and 8+ years’

Qualifications

• 8+ years of field experience in HPHT and offshore drilling.
• Technical degree in STEM.
• Experience with drilling & completion fluids.
• Experience in Oil & Gas field/workshop environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite services by measuring, testing and supervising fluid mixing and pumping.
• Provide technical analysis and practical recommendations to control fluid properties.
• Maintain fluid properties on rig sites and manage site inventory.
• Deliver effective customer service and coordinate with rig teams and field offices.

Job Title:- Field Specialist IV – FLD (Drilling Completion Fluid)

Location:- APAC-SEA-Malaysia

Role Summary:-

Lead Fluid Specialist : provides onsite services by measuring, testing and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping, including technical analysis and specific product and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties.

• Under broad direction provides onsite services by measuring, testing, and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping, including technical analysis and specific product and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties.
• Maintains fluid properties on rig sites by testing fluid properties accurately.
• Maintains inventory at customer well sites.
• Must provide effective customer service by providing rig-site customers and coordinators information regarding the progress of a rig site and create/implement solutions to rig site problems.
• May make sales calls on the field and field office level or accompany Sales Representative performing the same function. Performs other related duties as required.
• Provide ongoing support to assist operations in providing our customers the most effective, environmentally safe drilling fluids available while optimizing the well-bore construction process and maximizing our customers' production.
• Conducts all business activities in accordance with Company’ CMP, Legal Compliance requirements and Company Core Values.

Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-

• Years of experience: 8+ years
• Field of experience: HPHT, Deep Water Drilling / Other Conventional Offshore Drilling
• Technical Skills: Drilling & Completion Fluid Specialization
• Tools or Software (Required): MS Office, DCFR
• Education Qualifications: Technical degree -STEM
• Industry Background or Experience (Required): Oil and Gas (field and workshop)
• Target Companies: SLB, Halliburton or other services companies
• Required Accreditations / Qualifications / Certification / Licenses including driving License: other courses will be completed by operation upon start.

• Good communication skills, communicate with various clients and must have good customer service skills
• Able to work in hardship environment

• Rotation / Work Schedule: 4 Weeks On / 4 Weeks Off
• Role base (Office, Onshore, Offshore or Workshop): Onshore field operation/Standby

• Languages Required & Proficiency Level: Good Command of English (Spoken and Written)
