Overview

You will attend customer sites, troubleshoot and resolve issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide support as required by projects. You will be responsible for technical delivery on control and electrical systems through the planning, design, implementation, testing and commissioning phases. Work with project managers/business leads on planning, budget and scope. On specific projects, you may supervise a team of engineers in the execution of project delivery, including design, implementation, testing and customer-site commissioning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical and project engineering responsibility for projects
  • Develop and commission control system projects by performing engineering application and programming specifications
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants
Functional
  • Provide updates to project manager and Engineering Team Leader about status of activities and KPIs
  • Develop technical standards and procedures within the project context
  • Contribute to project review process and give technical guidance on project-related matters
  • May work on project cost estimates and proposals
Business
  • Work with project manager to lead technical execution for complex projects
  • Meet project schedule, engineering hour budgets, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Build partnerships at a technical level with key customers
  • Be commercially aware of the growth of selecting and delivering the project design and deliverables
  • May present and develop technical aspects of sales proposals to customers
  • Follow all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory procedures for this position
Others
  • Ensure compliance with Ethics, Standards of Business Conduct, Safety, Information Technology and other RA policies and relevant government regulations in the geography
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned by immediate Manager
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Required Industry and Work Experience
  • Typically 5 to 10 years’ experience in Electrical, Control and Automation projects, including designing, consulting, implementing and commissioning
  • Experience with PLC, Drives, SCADA or any RA related products
  • Project Management experience
  • Broad application/technical knowledge relevant to assigned business team
  • Understanding of industrial control systems (preferably Rockwell Automation solutions), IT/OT infrastructure, MES
  • Experience with MS Office products Excel, Word, Project, Visio, etc.
