Job summary

Intel Technology Sdn. Bhd. seeks a hands-on Installation Technician to perform equipment installation, setup, and commissioning in Penang. You will work closely with engineers and suppliers, ensuring adherence to plans and quality standards.

Qualifications include a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with hands-on experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting. Willingness to work shifts and in a manufacturing environment is expected.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with equipment installation, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, or manufacturing technical support is an advantage.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills are required.
Ability to interpret and follow technical documentation, drawings, schematics, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on equipment installation, setup, conversion, commissioning, relocation, and removal per plans and drawings.
Coordinate with engineers, suppliers and field teams to ensure successful installation and qualification.
Inspect completed work against specifications and checklists; escalate non-conformances.
Provide basic equipment testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance as directed by engineering.
Maintain accurate records of installation, testing, commissioning and field activities.
