Job summary

Malaysian Industrial Geotechnical Sdn Bhd is seeking a field service technician to service and repair Putzmeister and other heavy equipment. The role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, on-site troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance per schedule.

You will travel to customer sites, including East Malaysia, to diagnose issues, implement corrective actions, and handle emergencies. Strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering required.
• 1–2 years working experience in heavy machinery or automotive field preferred.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Familiar with industrial motor starters (star delta, DOL, etc.).
• Willing to travel and hold a valid driving license (Class D/GDL).
• Able to work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintenance of Putzmeister and other brands construction equipment.
• Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• On-site troubleshooting, repair and determine root causes for corrective actions.
• Handle emergencies and machine breakdown repairs.
• Travel to customer sites (including East Malaysia) to work independently.
