Job description

Assist Lead Technician to ensure the serviceability of Motorized and Non‑motorized equipment. To ensure ADE Part 145 facilities are maintained and monitored properly.

Qualifications

Aircraft Technician with 1 year experience in aircraft maintenance OR fresh graduate from Diploma in engineering related discipline in aircraft or automotive maintenance.

Specific Functions
  1. Perform daily inspection for motorized equipment such as vehicles, GPU, GTSU, ACU, Water Cart and Tractors.
  2. Perform weekly inspection for Non‑Motorized equipment such as Maintenance Steps and Waste Cart.
  3. Monitor the equipment defect report and liaise with service provider for rectification plans.
  4. Raise defect report whenever the equipment is found unsatisfactory.
  5. Ensure the inspection records are available and safely kept.
  6. Ensure the readiness of AirAsia Hangar for Aircraft maintenance visit.
  7. Perform Facility and General Accommodation monthly inspection for Maintenance Office and Hangar.
  8. Monitor the Vehicles AVP validity and ensure its sent for renewal before the expiry date.
  9. Obtain Airside Driving Permit from the relevant airport authorities.
  10. Liaise with AirAsia facility department for any issues related to maintenance facility.
  11. Support line maintenance activity including scheduled maintenance and unscheduled maintenance.
  12. Attend scheduled back up as required to support maintenance operation.
  13. Any other task as assigned by the immediate superior.
