Intel Foundry's Penang FA LYA team is seeking a College Grad Manufacturing Failure Analysis Engineer to identify defects and develop analysis methodologies. You will contribute to yield, quality, and reliability improvements for next‑generation products and packaging while supporting future technologies and manufacturing capabilities.

The role focuses on electrical and mechanical failure analysis, lab evaluations, and process improvements in an on‑site Malaysia environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree with 0–1 years hands-on experience or a Master's degree with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical testing methods and tools.
• Fundamental knowledge of material‑device interactions and analysis techniques.

Aufgaben

• Conduct failure analysis to determine the root cause of defects in integrated circuits, components, subcomponents, and systems.
• Define and implement failure analysis strategies to enhance yield, quality, and reliability.
• Perform lab work to evaluate the electrical and mechanical characteristics of materials and devices.
• Develop advanced methodologies for electrical, analytical, and mechanical failure analysis to support future technologies and products.
• Direct technology and product transfer, manufacturing startup, and automation improvements in failure analysis processes.
• Analyze failure reports, recommend corrective actions, and drive shared learning across sites.
