Job summary

A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced factory manager to oversee daily operations, manage production schedules, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and 3–5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day factory operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are met.
  • Manage production schedules, manpower allocation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory, raw material usage, and ensure timely supply to meet demand.
  • Implement and maintain quality control (QC) and hygiene standards in line with F&B industry requirements.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and quality assurance.
  • Supervise and train factory staff to improve performance and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and food safety certifications (e.g., HALAL, HACCP, GMP).
  • Identify opportunities to optimize production cost and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Food Technology, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in factory or production management, preferably in the F&B industry.
