Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in plastics, packaging, or biodegradable materials.
- Strong understanding of extrusion, blown film, and bag‑making machinery.
- Knowledge of biodegradable materials (PLA, PBAT, starch blends, etc.) and related processing techniques.
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or ISO 14001/9001 systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities
The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process of biodegradable bags, ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and meeting production targets while complying with environmental, safety, and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Management
- Plan, organize, and control the manufacturing process to ensure timely and cost‑effective production.
- Develop and implement production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
- Monitor daily production outputs and identify bottlenecks or process inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with biodegradable material handling and processing standards.
2. Quality Assurance
- Establish and maintain quality control systems for raw materials, in‑process production, and finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, environmental, and biodegradable product certifications.
- Work with the R&D team to continuously improve product quality and sustainability.
3. Resource & Equipment Management
- Supervise maintenance of machinery and ensure minimal downtime.
- Manage procurement and inventory of raw materials (e.g., PLA, PBAT, starch‑based compounds).
- Ensure proper calibration and safe operation of production equipment.
4. Team Leadership & HR Management
- Lead, train, and motivate factory staff including supervisors, machine operators, and maintenance personnel.
- Oversee shift scheduling and workforce planning.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in the workplace.
- Ensure all production activities comply with local environmental laws and biodegradable product standards.
- Maintain waste management and recycling systems aligned with sustainability goals.
6. Cost & Efficiency Optimization
- Monitor production costs and implement cost‑saving initiatives.
- Optimize material usage, reduce waste, and enhance energy efficiency.
- Prepare production and performance reports for management review.
7. Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with the sales, logistics, procurement, and R&D departments.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance and supply contracts.
