We are seeking a Factory Controller to assist the Factory Manager as a key member of the Factory Leadership Team. The FC will focus on strategic and operational support, including cost visibility, analysis, reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, NAS, and CSM standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and prioritize cost improvement opportunities within the factory, tracking project progress to realize savings.
  2. Understand factory cost drivers and their impact on variances, utilizing GLOBE/SAP reports to inform decision-making.
  3. Coordinate and ensure accurate and timely reporting of actual costs, adhering to financial policies and standards, and alert stakeholders to major deviations.
  4. Contribute to business planning by preparing assumptions for the Annual Cost Estimate and Dynamic Forecast, considering factors like volume changes, product mix, and NPD impacts.
  5. Evaluate and oversee capital investment plans, ensuring robust assessments and approvals.
  6. Maintain transparency regarding costs and the financial implications of strategic decisions.
  7. Organize benchmarking activities to compare factory performance and costs externally and internally.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably in sales, factory, or supply chain controlling roles.
  • Manufacturing costing experience, ideally within a factory or supply chain environment.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Proficiency with SAP.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, or related qualification in Accounting.
  • Fluent in English and Malay.
