Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer for automation component sales in Penang. You will drive sales of pneumatics, motors and sensors, conduct product demonstrations, and negotiate with customers to close deals.

The role requires 1–2 years in sales/applications, a relevant engineering degree, and willingness to travel in the Northern Region of Malaysia. Join a focused team in a fast-paced market.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• 1–2 years of sales and application experience in pneumatics, motors & sensors.
• Knowledge in factory automation sales (pneumatics & motors) is an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with initiative and drive.
• Possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales activities of factory automation products including pneumatics, motors, sensors etc.
• Conduct product demonstrations, spec-ins and negotiate with customers.
• Manage existing accounts and develop new customers.
• Able to work independently and also work as a team together with in-house or customer team.
• Develop and execute business development and sales strategies for assigned territories.
• Willing to travel (Northern Region of Malaysia)
