Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan GMRecruitment Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to oversee the 24x7 operations of data center facilities in Ulu Tiram, Johor. You will lead the critical environment engineering teams, ensuring reliable, safe, and compliant infrastructure performance.

Responsibilities include managing the command center, implementing change control, developing SOPs, coordinating maintenance and capital plans, and training vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in BM and English.
• 8–10 years of managerial experience overseeing engineering teams.
• Willing to work in Ulu Tiram, Johor.
• Strong knowledge of critical systems operations and risk management.
• Familiar with financial terms, budget development, and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations, maintenance, and modifications of critical environment systems.
• Manage command center operations, ensuring professionalism and adherence to SLAs.
• Implement change control processes and develop SOPs/EOPs for critical systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory laws, certifications, and safety standards.
• Develop annual maintenance and capital plans, communicate with stakeholders, and submit timely reports to customers.
• Train and qualify vendors for critical environment work.
• Manage site engineering teams, identify training needs, and ensure flawless execution of work activities.
• Operate during emergencies, be on-call 24x7
