Job summary

A leading energy services company in Malaysia is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to oversee and guide maintenance activities. The ideal candidate has a Certificate or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering and at least 1 year of related experience. This role includes responsibilities such as ensuring the safety and efficiency of maintenance work, responding to emergencies, and supporting ongoing improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide technicians/operators in carrying out maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance of civil, electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems is conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with HSE regulations.
• Verify and inspect completed maintenance work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Respond promptly to operational emergencies and perform troubleshooting to minimize equipment or system downtime.
• Provide technical support for facility-related projects, upgrades, and audits.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of facility operations and maintenance practices.
