Job summary

A leading facility management company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for Facility & Property Management to oversee operations of foreign worker hostels. This role entails ensuring compliance with regulations, managing vendors, and improving facility performance. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience and strong leadership skills. The position is on-site in Johor and offers a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of facility/property management experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong understanding of Act 446, BOMBA requirements, OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Lead full hostel facility operations including maintenance and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with Act 446 and oversee audits.
• Manage vendor sourcing and evaluate contracts.
• Monitor OPEX budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Supervise staff and maintain safety standards.
