Job summary

ICHOR Systems is seeking a Facility Engineer to manage and maintain facility systems and infrastructure for safe, reliable operations in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, utilities, and contractor activities while ensuring safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements are met.

You will support troubleshooting, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to keep plant operations smooth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5–8 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing facility environment.
• AO/A4 Chargeman Certificate is required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical installations and facilities equipment.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure workplace safety compliance.
• Carry out chargeman duties under Electrical Act and regulations.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Supervise contractor work and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with wiremen and monitor electrical installations around buildings.
• Report abnormalities to management and document maintenance activities.
