Summary

An exciting role to support the continuous growth of the company and for future expansion. This position will play a key role in establishing the electrical section in the facility team for the building. Opportunity to lead a critical system supporting entire factory that has the potential for tremendous knowledge growth.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Familiar with facilities electrical systems (HT and LV)
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth manufacturing operation, compliance to GMP, Dexcom and Malaysia’s safety/environment standards and legislative regulations.
  • Lead, manage and coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, clients, and sub-contractors to implement in accordance company’s code and conducts
  • Direct, supervise and control qualified sub-contractors /internal project team members to ensure work is executed to approved drawings/specifications and take appropriate corrective actions
  • Support and work closely with all Plant EHS and Quality initiatives and targets.
  • Responsible to ensure the systems runs smoothly. Spares/consumables inventory meeting critical maintenance requirement.
  • Responsible for review and development of specific documentation, procedures and site change control processes for equipment and process.
  • Manage the preventive maintenance and calibration program for facilities equipment.
  • Liaison Government authorities as required.
  • Carry out other work or task as directed by Manager.
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma or higher in Electrical or other related qualification.
  • 2 - 5 years of industry experience in system ownership for HT and LV electrical systems. Fresh grads are welcome.
  • Broad engineering skills and experience in utility, automation, instrumentation and project management, operations, and maintenance of HT & LV electrical system.
  • Understanding and experience of GMP & EHS requirements and external/internal audits
  • Strong business and customer focus
  • Good engineering problem solving skills, workload resource planning and prioritization skills.
  • Continuous challenge and improvement current operations
  • Organized and good team player, able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Knowledge on Lean Sigma tools (5S /Pareto /5 why /DMAIC / RCA /Fish bone analysis) will be added advantage
  • Knowledge on ISO stds for medical devices and environmental acts
  • Certified Energy Manager by Suruhanjaya Tenaga would be an added advantage.
