A facilities management firm in Malaysia is looking for a qualified candidate to oversee maintenance and servicing of buildings and equipment. The role requires supervising contractors and promoting environmental health and safety programs. Responsibilities also include coordinating safety activities and ensuring systems support production efficiency. Candidates should have strong organizational skills and experience in facilities management.
To be in charge of buildings, mechanical & electrical equipment maintenance and servicing.
To supervise and coordinate with Facilities servicing and repairing contractors.
To develop and enhance an effective Facilities system to support Production.
To supervise building and M&E expansion and renovation works.
To develop and enhance plant energy conservation program.
To regularly update and review Facilities system.
To ensure operational control for HSE system are well managed.
To assist the Safety and Health Committee (SHC), Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management system committee and Emergency Respond Team (ERT).
To promote the EHS programs.
To review the appointed monthly servicing contractor performance regularly.
To coordinate and participate in plant wide safety activities.
To supervise Facilities staff on their daily duties and performance.
To ensure all the Facilities work is conducted in a good manner system.
To arrange meeting and project implementation schedule.
To monitor, investigate incidents, and making recommendations up to date with legislation and guidance relating to pest control and Environmental, Health & Safety and implementing changes to procedure, if necessary.
