Job summary

Enovix Malaysia SDN. BHD. is seeking a Facilities Director to lead the Penang plant’s facilities operations, including maintenance, space planning, and building systems management. The role oversees a team of engineers and technicians and requires strong leadership and strategic budget oversight.

The candidate will drive preventive maintenance, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across all facility services to support large-scale manufacturing in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering Degree, Electrical or Mechanical; Master’s in Business or Facilities Management preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in cleanroom/manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication and writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the facilities team (senior engineers, engineers, technicians).
• Oversee building systems: mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and wastewater; manage cleanrooms and manufacturing areas.
• Control, monitor, and approve budget and contracts for startup projects.
• Space planning and layout to support manufacturing requirements and utilities capacity.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive cost effectiveness for facilities equipment and systems maintenance.
• Lead continuous improvement projects.
• Lead a team of Facilities Senior Engineers, Engineers, Technicians.

Job Description

• Oversee and manage subcon facilities team
• Oversee the functioning of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and wastewater systems management, cleanrooms, manufacturing areas, office spaces & etc.
• Control, monitors, and approve budget and contract services for start up projects
• Space planning and layout and utility systems capacity to support manufacturing requirements
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive facilities maintenance programs
• Drive for cost effectiveness for maintenance of facilities equipment and systems
• Drive and participate in continuous improvement projects
• Leading a team consists of Facilities Senior Engineers, Engineers, Technicians

Job Requirements

• BS Engineering Degree, Electrical or Mechanical preferably with Master’s Degree in Business or Facilities Management Experience
• Min 10 years minimum experience in the same or related capacity, preferably in cleanroom environment and large manufacturing set-up .
• Have excellent leadership, communication and writing skills
