Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act and its regulations (Malaysian Law).
• Certified Chargeman, competent person by Energy Commission Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and carry out a proper preventive maintenance to ensure plant electrical systems or equipment are being operated in a safe and cost-effective condition.
• Ensure installation and maintenance of electrical equipment are safe and complied with legal requirements.
• Coordinate and interface with utility providers and governmental regulatory body pertaining to utility related matters.
• Responsible and authorized to make decisions to shut down the company facility and advise management on the next course of actions during critical or life-threatening situations.
