A fast-growing F&B lifestyle group managing both local halal restaurants and premium club bistro concepts. We’re looking for hands‑on procurement professionals who want to shape how the group grows — not just follow SOPs.
If you thrive in fast‑moving environments, take ownership of every negotiation, and enjoy the challenge of sourcing for both kitchen and bar operations, this is where your expertise matters. You’ll play a direct role in driving profitability, managing supplier networks, and ensuring consistent quality across every outlet — while working closely with top management to support expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end procurement operations for restaurants and club bistros
- Develop purchasing strategies, forecast material needs, and manage supplier sourcing
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve the best value for the group
- Oversee inventory planning, delivery timelines, and supplier performance
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations for cost control and stock optimization
- Supervise and mentor procurement staff; ensure compliance with company and ISO standards
- Taste and evaluate alcoholic beverages (wine, beer, spirits) for quality and suitability in procurement
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Hospitality/ Hotel & Restaurant Management, Entrepreneurship / International Business, Food Science / Culinary Management or Tourism / Event Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in the F&B industry
- Proven ability in negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis
- Strong Mandarin and English communication (to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking suppliers)
- Analytical, independent, and proactive mindset with hands‑on leadership skills
- Must be comfortable testing alcoholic beverages for procurement purposes
- Possess own transport and able to travel for supplier visits
Key Responsibilities:
- Support purchasing for both restaurant and club operations
- Source and evaluate suppliers; negotiate best terms and pricing
- Track inventory levels, prepare PO and delivery schedules
- Ensure procurement compliance and ethical sourcing
- Coordinate with Finance and Operations for accurate stock and costing
- Maintain procurement records and assist in vendor performance evaluation
- Input stock data into POS and monitor supply accuracy
- Taste and assess alcoholic beverages when required for procurement decisions
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Hospitality/ Hotel & Restaurant Management, Entrepreneurship / International Business, Food Science / Culinary Management or Tourism / Event Management, or related field or relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement/purchasing, ideally in F&B or hospitality
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently
- Proficient in Mandarin and English
- Comfortable tasting alcoholic beverages (for bistro procurement)
