Job description
Requirement
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in a restaurant management role, with a strong emphasis on floor management within a fine dining or upscale bar environment.
  • Possession of a Diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is essential. Additional certifications in food safety or beverage management are highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of service staff, bartenders, and support personnel.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory control, cost management, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Experience with inventory management software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner. A strong focus on creating a positive and memorable guest experience.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and suppliers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to develop and implement staff training programs to ensure consistent service standards and compliance with health and safety regulations. Experience in training staff on fine dining etiquette and beverage preparation is preferred.

  • Manage and train floor staff, including servers, bartenders, and support personnel, to deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
  • Maintain inventory control for beverages, glassware, and other floor-related supplies, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized floor environment.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Implement and maintain service standards, including table setting, order taking, and food presentation, to uphold Moments' brand image.
  • Monitor and analyze floor performance metrics, such as sales, customer feedback, and staff productivity, to identify areas for improvement.
