Job summary

EY Malaysia invites you to join our Assurance External Audit team, delivering independent examinations of financial statements to provide confidence to clients, investors and regulators.

As an Audit Assistant, you will work on diverse engagements across sectors such as financial services, energy, telecoms and more, developing through world-class learning, coaching and on-the-job experience in a global firm.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Non-degree holders must complete professional papers (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA Australia, MICPA x CA ANZ).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of work experience in Audit Services or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the audit client’s business
• Interact with clients to collect data, set up and maintain audit files
• Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements
• Document execution of audit procedures clearly and accurately
• Recognize potential audit issues and communicate them to the assurance team
