Job description

Our client is a leading manufacturer for plastic packaging targeted at local and global consumer brands. They are seeking an Export Sales Manager to join their team to lead regional business growth, especially across the APAC market.

Job Responsibilities:
  • International Business Ownership: Drive end-to-end export sales operations, managing revenue growth, margins, and customer expansion.
  • Export Sales Strategy & Market Penetration: Develop and execute export market strategies, including segment targeting, pricing, product positioning, and competitive analysis to increase the company's footprint across various sectors.
  • Distributor & Overseas Partner Management: Identify, appoint, and manage international distributors and agents, ensuring strong relationship building, performance tracking, compliance, and alignment with brand and market objectives
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, supply chain, quality, and product development teams to ensure order fulfilment, forecast accuracy, and seamless delivery of customized or common‑mould packaging solutions to export clients.
  • Commercial Reporting & Operational Excellence: Oversee export‑related forecasting, sales reporting, documentation, and logistics coordination while enforcing disciplined cost control and operational efficiency to support sustainable, scalable growth.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar.
  • Comes with around 5 - 8 years of sales experience within the packaging industry or similar, with prior experience handling export markets within the APAC region.
  • Proven sales track record with P&L management and team leadership experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
