Job summary

Roland Berger GmbH in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Expert in Debtor and Receivables Controlling to join the Finance & Controlling hub. You will manage the global debtor portfolio, optimize working capital processes, and prepare management reports in close cooperation with group companies.

The role requires at least 5 years in working capital management, strong Excel skills, SAP experience, and fluency in English. You will work within an international team, supporting strategy execution and cash-flow

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, finance, accounting or closely related with a focus on corporate finance and treasury topics
• At least 5 years of experience in working capital management in an international company
• Deep knowledge of debtor controlling and management processes and relevant standards
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel). SAP knowledge is a plus, ideally SAP Business ByDesign. Power BI skills advantageous

Responsibilities

• Monitor global debtors and receivables with assessment of asset value
• Collaborate with financial managers in group companies on debtors and receivables management
• Further develop processes and systems for debtors/receivables management and reporting
• Present work results to management and provide ad-hoc reports
• Create reports, data analyses and decision templates for management
• Assist in planning cash flows from customer receipts
• Support sales with tender- and performance bond requests

In a global management consultancy like Roland Berger, the Finance & Controlling function offers exciting challenges. We are currently ramping up our Finance & Controlling service hub in Kuala Lumpur to support our global Finance & Controlling operations with unique capabilities.

We are looking for a full-time team member to support our Holding Corporate Finance & Treasury department as part of our Kuala Lumpur Service Hub. Contribute to exciting finance projects and play your part in the overall success of our company. You will be part of a dedicated and motivated international team, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. You will manage the global customer-related debtor / receivable portfolio in close cooperation with our group companies. Additionally, you will optimize working capital processes and systems as well as derive recommendations for management.

• Monitor global debtors and receivables, including the assessment of asset value.
• Collaborate closely with financial managers in group companies regarding debtors and receivables management.
• Further develop theprocesses and systems for management of debtors and receivables, as well as the corresponding reporting for the group.
• Present work results to management, including ad-hoc reports.
• Create reports, data analyses, and decision-making templates for management.
• Assist in planning cash flows from customer receipts.
• Support our sales efforts with the preparation and management of tender- and performance bond requests.

• Degree in economics, finance, accounting or closely related with a focus on corporate finance and treasury topics
• At least 5 years of experience in working capital management in an international company
• Deep knowledge of debtor controlling and management processes and relevant standards, prior experience in debtor controlling and management in project-based and/or professional services are preferred
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel). Experience with SAP is a plus - ideally in SAP Business ByDesign. Microsoft PowerBI skills of advantage, else willingness to learn is a prerequisite
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, analytical thinking and a goal-oriented way of working
• Fluency in English, other languages spoken in our global business regions is a plus (e.g. French, German, Arabic)
