Job summary

A leading banking institution in Johor Bahru is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Services Executive to process trade transactions and ensure accurate data entry. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or higher in finance or related fields, along with good communication skills. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with full training provided. This role supports the Trade Services team and requires strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Candidates with relevant trade operations experience will be considered for Senior positions.

Responsibilities

  • Check, verify, process, input, and authorize all trade transactions with accuracy.
  • Ensure correct registration of all trade transaction data in the system.
  • Perform data input and scanning of trade documents into the central system.
  • Record the receipt of all incoming trade documents accurately.
  • Acknowledge Trade Services requests from customers and branches.
  • Track and reconcile payments for outstanding bills and completed transactions.
  • Perform other duties assigned to support overall operations.

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Trade Services Executive to join our Wholesale Credit Operations team. This role focuses on processing trade transactions, ensuring all data input and document filing are completed accurately and on time.

The successful candidate(s) will be based in Johor Bahru and will report directly to the Head of the Trade Services Centre (Johor).

Key Responsibilities
  • Check, verify, process, input, and authorize all trade transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ensure the integrity and correct registration of all trade transaction data in the system.
  • Perform necessary data input and scanning of trade documents into the central system.
  • Accurately record the receipt of all incoming trade documents (e.g., via Register, Mail, or Fax).
  • Promptly acknowledge Trade Services requests received from customers, branches, other banks, and internal business units.
  • Track and reconcile payments for both outstanding bills and completed transactions.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the Head of the Trade Services Centre or Team Leader to support overall operations.

Experience & Skillsets

  • Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at different levels.
  • PC literate (knowledge of Microsoft Office is required).
