Job summary

An educational organization in Malaysia is seeking an individual to assist with event coordination, resource planning, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should possess a recognized degree, have excellent communication skills, and knowledge of event management. Job Specification
  • Liaise with event organisers on event-related matters.
  • Assist event organisers in the resource planning and utilisation.
  • Assist with venue reservations for events including workshops, trainings, conferences, etc.
  • Ensure venues are restored to its original layout after the event.
  • Oversee pre and post-event arrangement and coordination.
  • Responsible for resource bookings (e.g., signage stands, queue stands) and ensure there is sufficient stock for booking.
  • Assist in tenancy agreement matters, ensure tenants comply to hygiene and cleanliness policy, and perform inspection on the tenants’ kiosk on a regular basis.
  • Keep track on the tenants’ utilities usage for rental rate calculations.
  • Ensure all keys are properly tagged and kept.
  • Assist in requesting for quotations, purchase requisition and follow through with Procurement Department.
  • Assist in checking bill of quantities, layouts and drawings for events.
  • Assist in communicating with technicians on maintenance tasks and update the yearly planner.
Requirements
  • Possess a recognised degree.
