Role Overview

This role helps achieve sales growth through three main areas of responsibility: maintaining an existing portfolio, obtaining new business, and as required selling modernization and repairs.

On a typical day you will
  • Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customers
  • Serve as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiries
  • Develop build‑on repair sales through networking, bids and tenders
  • Develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets, ensuring profitability
  • Use Otis’ sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results
  • Conduct sales negotiations and close deals, ensuring payment on time
  • Collaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues
Job Requirements
  • Possesses a business or technical degree or has completed training as a technician or business administrator
  • Initial experience in the sale of technical products requiring consultation
  • Strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills
  • Characterized by a high level of commitment and reliability, with a drive to deliver results
  • Target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization
