A leading engineering company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Executive / Senior Human Resource Executive. The role involves ensuring compliance with local labour laws, managing the recruitment process, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. Candidates should have a degree in Human Resources or a related field, with 4-5 years of relevant experience, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Malaysian Labour Law.
Key personnel in audits and ensure HR documentation is accurate and updated.
Participate in HR initiatives such as HRIS implementation, process improvement, or policy updates.
Liaise with insurance providers, brokers, and vendors to ensure timely updates and issue resolution.
Support compensation & benefit management and system rollout
Support management with HR data analytics and reports for decision-making.
Manage Handbook & Organizational chart development, and upkeeping for the Company wide.
Support in handling employee relations matters, grievances, and disciplinary issues in line with labour laws and company policies.
Plan and execute employee engagement programs and welfare initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters.
Assist in implementing performance management initiatives and annual performance review and appraisal processes company wide.
Support training and development activities, including tracking and reporting of employee training hours.
HRDF management and post training evaluations.
Responsible for expatriate/foreign employees’ matters such as work pass application ( CIDB, ESD, MOHR)
Manage recruitment process from job posting, screening, interviewing to offer management.
Work closely with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
Build a strong talent pipeline through job portals, referrals, and networking.
Manage end-to-end HR operational activities including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and separations.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Human resources or any related discipline
Experience Required: At least 4 – 5 years’ relevant experience.
Sound knowledge of HR operational processes and understanding of local labour laws and legislation.
Familiar with Microsoft Office – particularly, word, excel and power point
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Enjoy data-driven analysis, developing and implementing of solutions.
High integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong in influencing, communication and written English
