Job summary

A leading building materials company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Sales & Marketing representative. The role involves achieving sales budgets, maintaining customer relationships, and expanding the customer base. Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a diploma or degree in Business Studies or Marketing. This position requires good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with candidates expected to travel and possess their own transport.

Responsibility

• Responsible for Sales & Marketing activities for Building Materials in Northern West Malaysia.
• To achieve sales budget given by following up on customer’s requirements/ orders progress.
• Maintaining good relationship with customers.
• To compile reports on products, market, competitors analysis.
• To expand customer base by generating new key accounts.
• To gain better market share by providing suitable solutions to the customers.
• To ensure timely collection.
• To coordinate the supply chain for timely delivery to meet customers' expectations.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business Studies/Administration, Marketing or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience preferably in Sales, however fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good command in English, Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, good customer service, self‑motivated, goal oriented and result driven.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
• Can work independently with minimum supervision.
