Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and driven Marketing Executive / Senior Marketing Executive to support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for Giant Malaysia. The candidate will play a key role in coordinating brand and promotional activities, managing campaign deliverables, liaising with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring consistent brand visibility across all customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns (online and offline) to drive traffic and sales.
- Support the development of thematic and tactical promotions, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (commercial, operations, design and suppliers) to ensure smoothness of the campaign.
- Manage store-level marketing materials including POSM, posters, bunting, and digital screens.
- Handle budget tracking, vendor quotations, and invoicing to ensure cost efficiency.
- Track and report campaign performance, including ROI, customer engagement, sales impact and provide regular updates to management.
- Support social media and digital marketing initiatives, including influencer engagement and content coordination.
- Assist in CSR and seasonal campaigns such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali, and year-end clearance events.
- Assist in interpreting data, identify market trends, consumer behavior, and make data-driven recommendations on budget allocation to achieve maximum ROI.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of marketing experience. Preferably someone with interest in creative marketing.
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and campaign performance data to provide actionable insights.
- Understanding of retail marketing, brand activation and digital marketing.
- Good coordination and project management skills — able to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Good communication and presentation skills in English.
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
- A creative thinker with strong attention to detail and passion for retail.
- Team player with a positive attitude, able to work under tight deadlines.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel to stores when required.
