Job summary

A leading marine engineering company is seeking a motivated Executive / Senior Executive for Marine Commercial (Non-Gas – Domestic) to drive revenue growth and support business development activities. The role includes executing bid strategies, conducting market research, and managing client relationships particularly within the domestic marine and government vessel segment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and 2–5 years of relevant experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Executive / Senior Executive, Marine Commercial (Non-Gas – Domestic) to support and execute business development and commercial activities within the Marine & Asset Integrity Solutions Division. This role plays a key part in driving revenue growth, strengthening market competitiveness, and supporting long-term business sustainability, particularly within the domestic marine and government vessel segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of bid strategies to achieve revenue targets, order book growth, and new project opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and business intelligence, including analysis of customer behaviour, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Prepare and coordinate competitive, compliant, and timely bid and proposal submissions with internal stakeholders.
  • Support commercial evaluations covering financial and contractual aspects to ensure project viability and profitability.
  • Assist in managing client relationships, including proactive follow-ups on submitted bids and acting on customer feedback.
  • Support sales strategy and execution for government agencies operating vessels, including TLDM, Marine Department Malaysia, PDRM Marine, APMM, and other related agencies.
  • Participate in Quality, HSE, and Kaizen initiatives to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Naval Architecture, Marine, or related disciplines).
  • 2–5 years of experience in marine, offshore, engineering, or related industries.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, project coordination, and commercial support.
  • Good writing, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
