Executive, Sales Planning Support (Supply Chain Demand Planning)
Overview
The Sales Planning Support will be responsible for the supply chain demand & supply planning, forecasting, inventory management and other related activities for the assigned categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing best practices in demand supply planning, stock replenishment and exit plan to maintain an optimum balance between availability and inventory holding.
- Demand sales forecast planning driven by pricing analytic to fulfil dynamic store orders, agile to react to work under pressure to deliver results.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams which may include commercial, marketing, store operations, IT, logistics etc. to ensure timely replenishment and planning insights for all activities inclusive of festive and promotional events.
- Collaborate with the related functions across end to end value chain and lead the attainment of key demand supply planning performance metrics.
- Manage short shelf‑life, excess, aging, slow moving, and obsolete stock to contribute to cash‑flow improvements and drive profit optimization.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree; preferably with specialization in the area of Supply Chain, Logistics, Statistics, Mathematics or other quantitative discipline.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of supply chain planning / purchasing experience; preferably in retail or FMCG. However, fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply. On the job training and mentorship will be provided.
- Analytical and strong with numbers. Ability to convert data insight into diagnostic and solution.
- Good understanding in supply & purchasing process.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheet, Power BI, other big data analytic tools.
- Experience in statistical modelling, consumption analysis, events and festive management (New Product launches & promotions) and collaborative forecast will be an added advantage.
