Job summary

AFA Group is seeking an Executive, Risk Management to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework. The role focuses on risk assessment, monitoring, documentation and reporting to ensure regulatory compliance across business operations.

You will assist in risk appetite reviews, KRI monitoring and enterprise-wide risk reviews, while supporting BCM activities and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk-related field.
• 1–5 years in risk management, compliance or related discipline.
• Strong analytical ability for risk assessments and mitigation.
• Certification in risk management (ERM/BCM) is a plus.
• Understanding of risk frameworks, BCM, regulatory requirements, governance; ESG exposure helps.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of ERM and BCM frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Monitor and update risk appetite framework and related risk parameters.
• Track KRIs and report risk exposures across the Group.
• Assist in risk assessments, data collection and enterprise-wide reviews.
• Support BCM activities including business impact assessments and continuity planning.
• Coordinate with business units to document and monitor mitigation actions.
• Integrate risk management into planning and reporting processes.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, risk registers and BCM documentation for management.

Job description

Executive, Risk Management responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity (BCM) framework through effective risk assessment, monitoring, documentation and reporting, while ensuring regulatory requirements are monitored and supporting the integration of risk management and business continuity practices across business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and Business Continuity Management (BCM), policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and established best practices.


• Assist in the review and maintenance of the Group’s risk appetite framework and related risk parameters.


• Monitor and update Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to support the identification and reporting of risk exposures across the Group.


• Assist in conducting risk assessments, data collection and analysis to support enterprise-wide risk reviews, including emerging risks and scenario analysis.


• Support BCM activities, including business impact assessments, business continuity planning, risk and disruption assessments, testing exercises and maintenance of relevant BCM documentation.


• Coordinate with business units in identifying, documenting and monitoring risk mitigation actions.


• Support the integration of risk management practices into business operations, planning and reporting processes.


• Assist in preparing risk reports, dashboards, risk register, BCM reports and supporting documentation for management and relevant committees.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline


• Minimum 1-5 years working experience in risk management, compliance or related discipline.


• Good analytical skills with the ability to support risk assessments, evaluate risk exposures,and contribute to the development of mitigation measures.


• Professional certification or qualification in risk management (e.g. ERM, BCM) would be an added advantage.


• Basic understanding of risk management frameworks, business continuity management, regulatory requirements, and governance practices, with exposure to ESG principles being an added advantage.
